Tuesday 17 November 2020: 11:45am to 12:30pm CET (GMT +1)
The Fieldfisher Brussels employment law team is hosting a webinar looking in to the changes that will come into force affecting HR law and in particular immigration, social security and employment law, on 1 January 2021.
Titled: 'Brexit: from business trips to change of TUPE legislation. What may we expect?', the webinar will provide insights for businesses with regard to UK:EU activities. Among other points, the team will discuss:
- How will an EU (national) employee be able to continue or start work in the UK?
- How will entitlements in respect of social security be guaranteed or not guaranteed?
- What employment law will apply after 31 December 2020?
- How do EU-based businesses deal with a UK citizen coming to work in the EU after 1 January 2021?
While the post-transition EU:UK relationship still remains uncertain, there are many aspects of immigration, social security and employment clients can plan for now.
