I practice in the fields of mining law, energy (renewable, non-renewable), foreign investments and business law in Africa (international contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, regulatory, infrastructure, OHADA law). I also practice in the fields of M&A and private equity on domestic operations.
Called to the Bar in 2007 (Hauts-de-Seine Bar then Paris Bar), I hold a Master's Degree in Private International Law and International Commercial Law and a Master's Degree in Private and Public Business Law from the University Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master in Management from EDHEC business school.
Before joining Fieldfisher in 2017, I worked for seven years in the Corporate – M&A and International Projects – Africa Desk of Fidal International and for nearly three years at the Paris office of Dentons.
I have spoken at conferences in Africa about mining and energy related issues (notably CIMEC (Cameroon International Mining Conference and Exhibition) 2015 organized by AME Trade and written articles on such issues. I am one of the authors of the 2017 and 2019 Arcadia (CyclOpe Africa) reports on commodities markets. I am also a member of the executive committee of the Africa / OHADA commission of the Paris Bar.
