We are growing our team! Due to our continued growth and ambitious plans for the future, we are seeking to recruit a number of Solicitors to join our Public and Regulatory department.
Join our team and you will contribute towards a rewarding and varied caseload, including investigations, litigation, enforcement, regulatory prosecutions, statutory interpretation and public and administrative law. You will be given ample autonomy in your role, in a supportive and collaborative team environment. These roles require provision of expert legal advice, underpinned by a sound commercial understanding of client needs and expectations.

The successful candidates will gain invaluable experience in:
- Advising professional regulatory bodies in respect of the management of fitness to practise/disciplinary complaints received, from preliminary stage through to sanction.
- Advising on all elements of the investigation, preparation and presentation of cases for hearing before disciplinary Committees and Boards/Councils/Tribunals of regulatory bodies.
- Advising clients in respect of Superior Court litigation, including judicial review, statutory appeals, sanction confirmation applications and urgent applications.
- Advising regulatory bodies on their statutory powers and functions.
The successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- 2-3 years' experience in Public and Regulatory and/or Administrative Law (although all suitably qualified, including more experienced candidates will be fully considered);
- Litigation experience, particularly in the field of judicial review;
- Demonstrable experience of drafting complex written advices on Public and Regulatory and/or Administrative Law issues;
- A strong commercial focus and business acumen;
- Ability to foster trusted relationships with our clients;
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Team player with strong communication skills;
- A good work ethic with a positive "can do" attitude and approach to work.
- Capacity to work independently under own initiative.
Experience in any of the following areas is desirable:
- Advising on the regulation of financial service providers.
- Advising on the regulation of technology service providers.
- Advising on European Union regulatory law particularly in areas related to financial services and / or technology services.
