Due to our continued growth and ambitious plans for the future, we have an immediate vacancy for a Banking Associate to join our well established and successful Corporate & Commercial department. This role offers challenging, interesting and rewarding work in an innovative and progressive environment.
The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for:
Advising Banks, Building Societies and other Financial Institutions generally in relation to regulatory and compliance matters and the Consumer Credit Act;
Advising domestic and international banks in relation to the taking of security, negotiation of interlender agreements, review of security, regulatory matters, matters related to the terms and conditions for various products, and Consumer Credit Act matters and perfecting items of security;
Advising on the conduct of meetings, corporate governance and general secretarial matters to Banks, Retail Credit Firms, Societies and Multi-national companies;
General advice on issues such as loan finance, acquisition finance, syndicated lending, secured and unsecured loans and equity investment arrangements;
Ensuring a quality and timely service is delivered to our clients;
Other ad hoc activities as required.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
5+ years professional experience in the area of banking;
Ability to foster trusted relationships with our clients;
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Team player with strong communication skills;
A good work ethic with a positive can do attitude and approach to work.
