Health and Social Care Inter-professional Learning Conference

The main Irish health and social care regulators: CORU, the Medical Council, The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, and supported by The Dental Council will jointly host a one-day conference on 06 October 2015 at Dublin Castle focused on inter-professional education and learning for collaborative practice.  The broad theme of the conference is "Advancing health and well-being through inter-professional learning for collaborative practice: Good practice, Dilemmas and Future Directions".

• Harry Cayton OBE – Chief Executive of the Professional Standards Authority, UK
• Caroline Hager – European Health Systems & Health Workforce, European Commission
• Margaret Murphy, Patient Advocate and External Lead Advisor, WHO Patients for Patient Safety Programme
• Dr Siobhán Ní Mhaolrúnaigh – Director of Research in Nursing at IT Tralee
