Medical Council Launches Report on Continuous Professional Development

The Medical Council has launched a report this morning detailing the progress of the Maintenance of doctors’ Professional Competence Requirements, introduced in 2011. Encouragingly, the report details that 98.3% of Doctors in Ireland are now enrolled in Continuous Professional Development. It also details the steps that have been taken in respect of non-compliance and the challenge of achieving full compliance with CPD requirements.
