The recent enactment of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 has prompted some commentary within the lobbying sector in the United Kingdom. Iain Anderson, chairman of the Association of Professional Political Consultants in the UK has authored a discussion piece published in PR Week which compares the Irish legislation to similar legislation which was published in the UK in 2014 and believes lessons can be learned from the Irish model.
