We have an immediate vacancy for a Solicitor to join our well established and successful Property Unit. This role offers challenging, interesting and rewarding work in an innovative and progressive environment.
The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for:
Advising clients in relation to the sales / purchases of commercial and residential properties;
Drafting documentation including transfers, leases, conveyances, assignments and licences;
Raising and replying to pre-lease enquiries, attending at closings and dealing with stamping and registration;
Investigating title, dealing with pre-contract enquiries, lodging deeds;
Managing landlord and tenant matters;
Ensuring a quality and timely service is delivered to our clients;
Other ad hoc activities as required.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
3-5 Years’ experience in Property Law (although more experienced candidates will also be considered);
Possess strong commercial acumen;
A willingness to participate in business development initiatives;
Ability to foster trusted relationships with our clients;
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail;
Ability to proactively manage own caseload;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Team player with strong communication skills and ambitions to progress their career;
An excellent work ethic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and approach to work.
