Professional background
My experience in structured finance includes assisting to arrangers and originators in securitisations and trade receivables financing transactions as well as assisting sellers and investors in principal finance transactions of performing and non-performing loans. I assist clients on Italian aspects of derivatives, repos, securities lending, margin loans and structured finance transactions with underlying assets of any kind (including equity).
I also deal with digitalization of finance transactions, assisting digital platforms for trading of financial assets and supporting investors in transactions involving virtual currencies.
I am used to lead and guide clients on their “first time” transactions in Italy and provide guidance on proper structuring having regards to the peculiarities of the Italian legal, regulatory and tax framework.
I am qualified in Italy to represent client before the Supreme Court (Cassazionista) and I am also qualified as solicitor in England and Wales. I have practiced in London for six years while working both in English and Italian firms.
