Ian's story: pursuing a mesothelioma claim against a former employer

In 2022, Ian Reed was diagnosed with mesothelioma. Following advice from the asbestos disease charity HASAG, Ian's wife Rosi contacted Fieldfisher to pursue a claim on Ian's behalf.

Charlotte Thorpe took on Ian's case and brought a claim against Ian's former employer, T H Haskett & Sons Ltd for whom he'd worked as a heating engineer. Liability was not an issue. Sadly, Ian's brother Mike, who had also worked for Hasketts in the 1970s, died of mesothelioma in 2001.
