On 9 March Rodney Nelson-Jones attended the funeral of Nancy Tait at Enfield Crematorium.
Rodney comments:
"Nancy Tait was a great campaigner on behalf of asbestos victims and their families. Before 1978 when she started SPAID (later OEDA), no one outside the trades unions was active in this way. Nancy fearlessly blazed a trail, inspiring others to follow later. Her brave and selfless work was of immeasurable value."
