Band 1 Clinical Negligence head described as 'extremely impressive' in Chambers

Head of Fieldfisher's medical negligence team in London, Iona Meeres Young, is called 'an extremely impressive woman with real gravitas' in this year's Chambers & Partners as her department retains its Band 1 ranking.

A large modern office building with glass windows stands on the banks of a wide river, under a cloudy sky. In the background, there's an older, towered structure with clock faces on each side. A bridge extends across the river on the left side.

Iona also moved into Band 1 for the first time. London Partner Sam Critchley, also in Band 1, was described as 'eye-wateringly talented'. Partner Mark Bowman is called 'exceptionally hard-working and really quite outstanding… an absolute joy to work with' and Jane Weakley as 'amazing throughout'.

Partner Arti Shah is described as 'brilliant… Her breadth of knowledge is vast and her ability to communicate with us at all stages has been invaluable'. A client says Director Caron Hayes  'humanises the law for those who do not have her expertise and I trust her advice 100%'; Director Punam Sood is 'very, very good' and Partner Jonathan Zimmern as 'really going the extra mile'.

Jenny Urwin who heads up Fieldfisher's Manchester clinical negligence team is described as 'hugely knowledgeable', with a 'calm demeanour' who 'works tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients'.

Manchester partner Claire Horton is described as 'an excellent litigator…  a pleasure to work with', Lindsay Holt as is 'massively experienced' and dealing with 'cases of the greatest complexity' and Julia Hamilton as 'achieving good results in very difficult cases'. The Manchester team also retains its Band 1 ranking.
