Multipliers
The purpose of this book is to provide personal injury lawyers, insurers and other practitioners with the essential equipment for the selection of suitable multipliers. As such, it is a response to the three main developments over the last year:
- the landmark judgment in July 1998 of the House of Lords in the linked cases of Wells v Wells, Thomas v Brighton Health Authority and Page v Sheerness Steel Company Limited
- the publication in May 1998 of the third edition of what have become universally known as the Ogden Tables
- the publication in December 1997 of the software disk and associated book entitled "Computing Personal Injury Damages" (CPID)
