Multipliers

The purpose of this book is to provide personal injury lawyers, insurers and other practitioners with the essential equipment for the selection of suitable multipliers. As such, it is a response to the three main developments over the last year:

1. the landmark judgment in July 1998 of the House of Lords in the linked cases of Wells v Wells, Thomas v Brighton Health Authority and Page v Sheerness Steel Company Limited
2. the publication in May 1998 of the third edition of what have become universally known as the Ogden Tables
3. the publication in December 1997 of the software disk and associated book entitled "Computing Personal Injury Damages" (CPID)
