Partner Keith Barrett awarded lifetime achievement award for outstanding service

Keith Barrett was given a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his outstanding service to both CILEx (the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) and the wider legal community.

At a ceremony at Shakespeare’s Globe last week, Fieldfisher partner Keith Barrett was given a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his outstanding service to both CILEx (the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) and the wider legal community.

A member of the CILEx Council for 11 years until 2017, Keith was also recognised for his claimant work in aviation accidents, road crashes and accidents at work. His reputation is also built on high profile pro bono work representing victims of the 7/7 bombings in London, the Finsbury Park mosque attack and the Westminster Bridge terrorist attack.

Keith continues to support Matt Briggs, whose wife was killed by a cyclist in 2016, in his campaign to bring cycling laws into line with the Road Traffic Act, recognising causing death or serious injury by dangerous or careless cycling as an offence.

Paul McNeil and Jill Greenfield said they were delighted that Keith's success and hard work have been recognised in this way.
