Two young children are playing with colorful toys on the floor of a living room. In the background, a woman sits on a couch, watching them. The room is softly lit, and a fireplace is visible on the left side.

Watch Mark Bowman and his client Tyson and family discuss their terrible ordeal leading to a medical negligence claim against Colchester Hospital. 4-year-old Tyson had to have one of his legs amputated after doctors failed to recognise he had sepsis until it was too late. He very nearly died, despite his mother Emma taking him to A&E twice. Back home, Tyson has since also lost his hearing and is deaf.

Mark explains that a major aim of the claim will be to ensure funds are available to get Tyson the best prosthetics as he grows up to help him live the best life he can. Mark will also look at how best to adapt the family's home to make it easier for Tyson to move around and to accommodate the ongoing therapies he will need to help him mobilise and cope with being deaf.
