Professional background

I have a particular interest in acting for clients who have sustained catastrophic brain injuries as a result of personal injury or medical negligence.

I have extensive experience in both the private and public legal sectors advocating on behalf of vulnerable clients.

My expertise encompasses:

  • Navigating complex Court of Protection matters, including disputes, pre and post-settlement
  • Managing high-value settlements
  • Dealing with the intricacies of high-value property purchases and adaptation projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
  • Challenging public sector organisation decisions
  • Attending court hearings in relation to a client's best interests.

My legal expertise extends beyond Court of Protection matters, encompassing medical negligence, personal injury, family law, employment law, housing and property, and private client law. I also have experience dealing with health and welfare, deprivation of liberty proceedings, as well as claims of undue influence and breach of trust.
