Professional background
My experience covers brain injury, spinal cord injury, fatal injury, amputation and severe orthopaedic injury. I assist Jennifer Buchanan alongside managing my own caseload.
Throughout my career I have represented individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries arising from incidents such as road traffic collisions, construction site incidents or as a result of medical negligence.
As a qualified solicitor-advocate, I have successfully represented my clients in the High Court at interlocutory hearings when called upon.
I enjoy working within a strong legal team and collaborating with leading experts to help individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries. I have worked as part of a legal team on cases of the utmost severity, including successfully representing clients who have suffered brain or spinal cord injuries.
I have a particular interest in spinal cord injury cases and I was part of a legal team instructed to represent an individual who was rendered tetraplegic in a road traffic collision. The settlement that was achieved is believed to be one of the highest awards ever secured for a case of this nature.
I am passionate about securing insurance payments so that my clients can start to rebuild their lives through specialist rehabilitation. I carefully analyse the medical evidence to quantify the cases to ensure that no stone is left unturned in maximising the damages and achieving successful settlements for my clients. I am regularly instructed by clients to take over conduct of their cases from other law firms and I am experienced at navigating these cases through the litigation process to get them back on track.
I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)
