Professional background

Professional background

I am a highly experienced medical negligence lawyer. I act solely for claimants in cases against NHS Hospital Trusts, GPs, private doctors and hospitals. I passionately support clients who suffer injury because of medical negligence and their families and am dedicated to getting them the justice they deserve.

This means achieving the best possible settlement to provide financial redress and access to the care, assistance and treatment they need to live their best possible life going forward.

My experience covers maternity and birth related injuries including cerebral palsy, Erb's Palsy, obstetric tears, stillbirth, early neonatal death and wrongful birth claims

I also have experience in orthopaedic cases involving mismanaged Lisfranc Injuries, knee replacement, postoperative infection, and amputation in addition to vascular cases involving limb ischaemia and mismanagement of diabetic foot ulcers.

My experience also covers surgical cases involving mismanagement of volvulus, diverticulitis and bowel perforation. I have a real interest in cases involving management of sepsis and septicaemia and Aortic Dissection. I regularly represent families at inquests where there have been fatal injuries following treatment in hospital or by other medical professionals.

I am a member of the AvMA Clinical Negligence Panel and of APIL.
