I joined Fieldfisher in September 2013. I work within the Medical Negligence team assisting Partner Jonathan Zimmern. I have completed my CILEx studies in order to become a Chartered Legal Executive as part of the Step2Success Scheme launched by Fieldfisher in 2013.
I have worked on a variety of claim types, including:
- Birth injury claims, including cerebral palsy
- Obstetric claims
- Delayed diagnosis of cancer claims
- Fatal claims
- Surgical claims
- Orthopaedic claims
- Ophthalmic claims
- Brain injury claims
- Delayed diagnosis of sensorineural hearing loss claims
In addition to my work on medical negligence claims, I also assist Jonathan with acting on behalf of the Trustees of the vCJD compensation scheme, which manages £67.5m for victims of variant Cruetzfeldt Jakob Disease and their families.

Client
When I reached out to Jamie, I was going through a particularly dark time, and from our very first conversation he made me feel truly heard and supported. My health conditions are something I've always found deeply embarrassing to talk about, but I never once felt uncomfortable. Jamie created a safe, respectful space where I could be open and honest. His patience, clarity and compassion guided me throughout, and his expertise has been second to none. The case not only gave me a voice but also helped me fully understand what happened and has allowed me to begin coming to terms with it. Reaching a settlement will give me the opportunity to finally get the treatment and support I need. I will be forever grateful to Jamie and would recommend him and Fieldfisher without hesitation.

I will be forever grateful to Jamie Green for his tenacity, perseverance and unfaltering belief throughout the past 6 years. He is an incredible champion; sensitive, available, kind but also measured in his approach. He has been with me every step of the way and I always felt listened to and understood.

Through the 3 year period of the claim Jamie would keep us up to date with what was happening. He would always find the time to speak to us and would take time to explain any complicated points into something understandable. And throughout the process he would always have the well being of my daughter at the forefront of any decisions and understood the impact that this had on my family. Thank you so much Jamie for your work and dedication to get the best possible outcome for my daughter.
