Professional background

I am a Legal Director in the medical negligence team at Fieldfisher. I have practiced in this area since qualifying in 2010.

I have extensive experience of representing catastrophically injured claimants and their families, helping them to rebuild their lives through rehabilitation and substantial damages settlements. I have also represented many families following fatal accidents and the loss of a loved one as a result of substandard medical treatment.

I have dealt with a wide range of case types including delayed diagnosis of cancer, fatal accidents, acquired brain injury, amputation, spinal injury, birth injury, and cosmetic surgery. My experience in neurological injury, delay in diagnosing cancer cases and fatal cases is particularly extensive. For example, I have worked on many cases involving spinal injury caused by Cauda Equina Syndrome and substandard surgery. I have also represented many claimants who have sustained a brain injury as a consequence of substandard stroke treatment and falls in hospital as well as claimants who have suffered as a consequence of a delayed diagnosis of cancer including ovarian, oesophageal bowel and rectal cancer.

I develop strong working relationship with my clients and understand the life changing physical and financial circumstances they find themselves in. I work hard to provide them with direct, clear advice and closely support them through the litigation process.
