Professional background

I am a solicitor in the clinical negligence team, having qualified in September 2023 after training at Fieldfisher for two years. I have assisted on a wide variety of complex high value claims, including birth injurieswrongful birthssurgical claimsdelays in diagnosis of cancer, and claims where someone has passed away as a result of medical negligence.

Highlights of recent client work include:

  • Representing the adult children of a deceased mother in respect of a claim for delayed diagnosis and various other counts of negligence;
  • Acting for a highway maintenance operative who suffered permanent life-changing complications as a result of negligent bowel surgery following a hernia diagnosis;
  • Assisting an individual in relation to severe and wide-ranging injuries suffered as a result of negligent bowel surgery and subsequent care by a private medical practitioner; and
  • Representing a child who suffered significant brain injuries at birth due to a delay in delivery and a hypoxic ischaemic episode.

I am passionate about helping claimants injured or affected by medical negligence and work empathetically to understand their individual needs. I often work alongside independent medical experts and barristers in investigating potential allegations of negligence and collating the evidence needed to win a case for my clients.

I co-founded the firm's working group for The Chancery Lane Project (TLCP), an initiative that upskills lawyers in climate-aligned contractual drafting to assist our clients in their net zero transitions.

In my spare time, I enjoy backpacking the world, playing futsal, rock climbing, and playing rock and blues guitar. I am a native Russian and French speaker and have conversational knowledge of Greek and German.
