Professional background

Professional background

I have been working in this area since 2010 and have a great deal of experience in working with clients from a variety of backgrounds who have sustained life-changing injuries or families that have lost a loved one through a fatal injury.

I work with clients that have sustained a range of injuries through medical negligence and personal injury, including brain injuries, injuries arising from birth, spinal injuries, gastrointestinal and colorectal injuries and gynaecological injuries following childbirth. I also have an interest in injuries arising out of infectious diseases, such as meningitis and tuberculosis.

I have represented a number of bereaved families that have lost loved ones as a result of fatal accidents and medical negligence. I understand the importance of conducting comprehensive investigations to obtain the answers that bereaved families desperately seek.

As a result of having a dual specialism, I also deal with claims arising from an accident with subsequent negligent medical treatment.

I believe in working collaboratively with clients and experts to investigate their cases thoroughly and secure the best possible settlement for the client. I understand the importance of treating clients as individuals and understanding their individual needs to ensure the appropriate award and solution is achieved for every client.  I am tactical and creative in my approach and I use various strategies to achieve the best outcome. As a result, I have over the years secured high value awards for clients and their families.

I am a Turkish speaker and I have represented a number of Turkish clients.

I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Sevim was appointed my solicitor when I was going through an extremely traumatic case of clinical negligence. This case took several years to settle, and quite honestly, I do not think I would have made it through without her support. Sevim’s attention to detail, constant and excellent communication, compassion, empathy, and absolute professionalism made the process bearable. I am very grateful to have had her act as my solicitor.
