Publication of the Reference Price Order for medicines 2025
Last week, the new Reference Price Order was published in the Official State Gazette: Order SND/1118/2025, which incorporates the changes resulting from the reform of the Reference Price System.
Although there are no significant changes from the first draft published, the final text removes plasma-derived medicines.
Project to eliminate paper leaflets from hospital medicines
After launching the project in 2022, last week the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) announced the consolidation of the project to eliminate paper leaflets for hospital medicines. This project was promoted due to the limited use of paper leaflets by healthcare professionals for hospital medicines, who usually access the information available on CIMA.
