Professional background

I specialise in the investigation and presentation of cases for hearing before professional conduct committees of regulatory bodies. I also am involved in the provision of advices to regulatory bodies in relation to all aspects of their statutory functions, as well as in relation to their practice and procedures.

I have experience in the preparation of judicial review proceedings and in the preparation of applications for hearing before the High Court.

I regularly provide advices to regulatory bodies in relation to their functions of investigation and prosecution. I deal with the preparation of the prosecution of offences for statutory breaches in the District Court.

I am enrolled on Clár na Gaeilge (An Dlí-Chumann)/Irish Language Register (The Law Society).
