Professional background

I work in the firm's Public and Regulatory Department, specialising in the investigation and preparation of cases before professional conduct committees of regulatory bodies. I primarily advise Irish statutory bodies in the healthcare sector.
 
I provide advice to regulatory bodies in relation to aspects of their statutory functions, including investigations and enforcement, prosecutions, complaints and discipline, registration, competence and also in respect of practice and procedures.
 
Prior to joining the firm, I worked in general practice where I gained considerable litigation experience representing clients in the District Court, Circuit Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
