I qualified as a solicitor in 2011, acting exclusively for Claimants in high value quantum personal injury and medical negligence claims. In 2014, I switched specialisms slightly, focusing solely on bringing personal injury claims on behalf of consumers against the manufacturers and retailers of defective products. I was a senior solicitor in the team pursuing the ASR Hip Litigation, representing Claimants who suffered life altering injuries and disabilities following the early failure of their ASR hip components.
In addition, as a keen sportsperson who enjoys running and cycling, I carved a niche in acting for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of sporting accidents and after using defective sports and fitness equipment, and I have successfully recovered substantial damages against leading bike manufacturers for defective bikes which were not fit for purpose.
As an Associate in the Serious Injury Team, I act solely for Claimants who have suffered life-changing and often fatal injuries, including brain and orthopaedic injuries, following road traffic accidents or accidents in the workplace. I also have a special interest in product liability and sports injury claims, in particular cycling claims. I also assist Jill Greenfield with her serious injury caseload.
I am often recognised not only for my meticulous and litigious approach to securing the highest damages awards for my clients, but also my compassionate client care skills and my calm and understanding approach to those clients who find litigation a daunting and difficult process. I believe it is important to secure funding through interim payments and to instruct case managers at an early stage of the claim to ensure that effective and appropriate rehabilitation and support is put in place for my clients.
I am also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and am accredited as a Senior Litigator by APIL.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, cycling and swimming.
