The Energy Technology Club is a network of companies active in energy services and technology, for both the renewable energy and conventional energy generation sectors.
The objective of the event, which gathered around 90 participants, was to highlight opportunities in cleaner energies and as such, featured major companies to highlight the diversification trends into renewables in the morning; with presentations from leading power and nuclear companies in the afternoon.
The conference agenda was set to encourage key stakeholders, operators, developers and contractors from the UK and across Europe to discuss the members from both Agoria's and the EIC's networks.
As an energy expert, David Haverbeke was invited to join the afternoon's discussions as a member of the panel which debated on, amongst other topics, Utilising supply chains and collaboration across sectors, Sharing technologies and cost reductions, New innovations and solutions, and Assets that have developed under challenging conditions.
The event was a success, with participants being able to network with the speakers, to explore partnerships with each other and to discover new technology from other sectors, accelerating, hereby, new business opportunities.
