Fieldfisher's Competition team is delighted to have been shortlisted for 'Competition Team of the Year' at The Legal Business Awards 2022.

The nomination reflects the firm's representation of Achilles Information Limited, a provider of supplier assurance and compliance services, in a complex competition case in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Fieldfisher's team, led by Co-Head of the Regulatory practice, John Cassels, and working alongside the firm's Dispute Resolution department, secured a victory for Achilles against Network Rail, the owner and operator of almost the entirety of the GB rail network, in claims arising from changes to the way in which Network Rail controlled access to rail infrastructure contract opportunities.

Alongside John Cassels was Dispute Resolution partner Stephen May, supported by Olivia Rogers (Competition & Regulatory solicitor), David Kaluwahandi (Dispute Resolution associate), Tom Crawford (Regulatory senior associate), and a number of trainees and paralegals across the firm.

The winners of The Legal Business Awards will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on 27 September 2022.
