Commenting on the deal, Corporate Partner David Wilkinson said:

"We are pleased to have worked again with the fantastic and deal driven team at InteleTravel on this unique opportunity allowing its agents across the globe early access to major sports and music events. With Tickitto now within the InteleTravel Group, its agents will have access to a first-level distributor for the NFL and other major sporting fixtures across the globe and it adds yet another way for InteleTravel agents to earn more whilst enhancing its customer experience even further.

This is the second acquisition by InteleTravel in the UK in less than a year following its successful acquisition of Major Travel PLC which Fieldfisher also advised on, highlighting the scale of InteleTravel's ambitions in providing a full service offering, capitalising on the growing trend for ‘live event travel’.

This was a fantastic deal to work on with a diverse shareholder pool to contend with, adding an additional layer of complexity. This transaction again highlights and emphasises Fieldfisher's extensive experience within the travel and leisure space which we continue to see as being an area of expansion and consolidation."

David was assisted by Senior Associate Jaspaul Dhesi, trainee solicitor Sophie Milne in the corporate team and Director John Tolman and Solicitor Shamima Khan in the tax team.
