Fieldfisher has promoted five lawyers to its partnership in the 2022 partner promotions round. The promotions are from the firm's London and Brussels offices and span a number of specialist areas, including Corporate, Tax Litigation, Regulatory and Personal Injury and Medical Negligence.
The new partners are:
Geoffroy Galea, Tax, Brussels
Geoffroy heads the Fieldfisher tax department in Brussels. He has a broad practice that covers direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, transfer pricing, VAT and registration duties. He also frequently represents clients in connection with requests for advance tax rulings and tax litigation. He serves clients from various sectors, with a particular focus on the real estate, life sciences, private equity, technology and media sectors.
Jessica Gardner, Regulatory, London
Jessica advises on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, regulatory risk and ESG matters. Her clients range from small enterprises through to multi-national corporates and large trade associations, across a range of sectors. She has particular expertise in regulated sectors including food and beverage, retail and consumer and life sciences.
Natalia Schuster, Corporate, London
Natalia advises clients on cross-border corporate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. She has acted for a range of clients from start-ups to large multinationals, particularly in the natural resources, life sciences and financial services sectors on various corporate matters.
Arti Shah, Personal Injury & Medical Negligence, London
Arti acts exclusively on behalf of claimants and deals with complex medical negligence cases. Her interests are surgical, neurological, orthopaedic and obstetric cases, particularly those involving fertility issues. Arti is also very experienced in working on maximum severity claims, including cerebral palsy and brain injury cases.
Matthew Sharp, Tax Litigation, London
Matthew advises on direct and indirect tax disputes across all industry sectors, acting for corporates and private individuals. He has particular expertise in employment-related tax issues and private client tax issues. He also has experience advising on complex and high-value professional negligence claims relating to tax and is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.

The promotions are effective from 1 May 2022 bringing the total of Fieldfisher partners, globally, to 280.
