Fieldfisher has advised Vestum AB (publ), a Swedish listed industrial group, on its acquisition of Dynamic Fluid Solutions Limited (DFS).
This strategic transaction marks the second deal Fieldfisher has completed for Vestum in the past twelve months and further strengthens Vestum’s Flow Technology segment, as well as the company's continued expansion in the UK water infrastructure market.
Vestum provides services and products to the infrastructure sector, with around 1,500 employees operating across Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. The group is made up of prominent specialists with deep industry experience and strong positions in regional markets.
DFS is a UK-based supplier of pumps and pipework systems, primarily serving the water and wastewater sectors. The company’s bespoke equipment and rental-led model have made it a trusted partner for customers with complex water movement needs.
Fieldfisher’s team provided end-to-end legal support throughout the transaction. Key areas of advice included corporate law, tax, real estate and planning, providing the client with holistic guidance and direction. The team was led by Tom Rush (Partner), supported by Alex Morris (Senior Associate), Rhiya Vaidya (Solicitor), John Tolman (Director), Shamima Khan (Associate), Rebecca Stopps (Solicitor), Dinah Patel (Director) and Tom Newborough (Director).
Tom Rush commented: “It’s been a pleasure to support Vestum on another strategic acquisition. DFS is a well-established business with a strong reputation in the UK market, and this deal positions Vestum to play a key role in the country’s future infrastructure investment. We’re proud to have worked alongside their team again and helped deliver a successful outcome.”
This transaction highlights Fieldfisher’s continued focus on supporting infrastructure investors and reinforces the firm’s track record in delivering complex cross-border deals with precision and care.
