Fieldfisher is delighted to announce that three graduates from our 2024 Graduate Legal Professional Scheme have secured permanent roles in our Belfast office, joining the Banking and CAST teams.
These appointments highlight both the talent of our graduates and the success of the scheme in creating clear pathways into the legal profession. Together, they represent a strong retention rate from the 2024 cohort — underlining the programme’s impact in developing early career lawyers.
Our new Legal Professionals
- Amaan Ahmed — joining the Banking team and bringing enthusiasm and strong transferable skills. His appointment also marks the team’s first Legal Professional in Belfast.
- Shannon Gregg — joining CAST, building on her strong foundation from the scheme and broadening her experience across multiple practice areas.
- Bethany Fraser — joining CAST, where she has already taken on a client secondment, contributing directly to client matters.
About the Graduate Legal Professional Scheme
The two-year programme provides law graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of legal disciplines, supported by structured training and development. Participants gain exposure to practice areas including regulatory, dispute resolution, technology and data, personal injury, corporate and real estate, while building practical skills in research, drafting, client onboarding, and preparing court documents.
By combining on-the-ground training in Belfast with development opportunities in our London headquarters, the scheme equips graduates to make a meaningful contribution from the outset of their careers.
Investing in the future
At Fieldfisher, we believe that supporting early career talent not only benefits our people but also enhances the service we deliver to clients. By nurturing promising graduates, we strengthen our ability to provide high-quality, innovative legal support across sectors.
We are proud of the achievements of Amaan, Shannon and Bethany, and look forward to the impact they will continue to make in their new roles.
