Fieldfisher has once again secured the top position in the AIM legal adviser rankings for Q2 2025, according to the latest AIM Advisers Rankings Guide. The firm remains the leading legal adviser to AIM-quoted companies.

The firm has retained its number one ranking for total AIM clients, as well as for clients in the energy, technology and industrials sectors and has seen improvements in its position in the FTSE AIM UK 50 clients and the consumer category.

The AIM Advisers Rankings Guide, published quarterly by Adviser Rankings Limited, tracks the performance of institutional advisers to AIM-listed companies.

Brad Isaac, Head of Equity Capital Markets at Fieldfisher, commented:

“We’re delighted to once again secure top spot for legal advisers to AIM companies, which reflects the strength of our client relationships and our long-standing focus on supporting growth companies in the UK. Despite ongoing economic headwinds, we’re seeing encouraging signs of UK capital markets activity. With further clarity on upcoming regulatory reforms, we believe the UK is well-positioned to remain a compelling destination for companies considering going public.”

Fieldfisher’s UK Equity Capital Markets team had a strong 2024, advising on 31 equity market transactions with a combined value of £1.5 billion. This included four IPOs – three of which were on AIM – representing 27% of all AIM IPOs that year. The team also advised on some of the largest transactions of the year, including the Main Market IPO of Air Astana Group, acting for the Kazakhstani Sovereign Wealth Fund, Samruk-Kazyna. The transaction valued the company at USD 847 million.

So far in 2025, the team has advised on two AIM IPOs. These include acting for Quantum Base Holdings, a quantum science company, on its £4.8 million fundraise and admission to AIM, and advising the nominated adviser and brokers on the first AIM IPO of the year by RC Fornax plc. The team has also supported a number of follow-on fundraisings for both issuer and investment bank clients.
