An online secondary ticketing marketplace, must disclose the identities of users who breached the Rugby Football Union’s (RFU) ticket policy by selling or advertising tickets for RFU fixtures at inflated prices. New European action plan for online gambling. The European Commission has unveiled a series of initiatives aimed at clarifying the regulation of online gambling. Read more
Legal protection of databases. For database right infringement claims to be successful in a particular EU member state, the database right holder will have to show, amongst other things, that the infringer had some intention of targeting users there, according to a recent ruling from the Court of Justice of the European Union.
