The Senior Managers Regime for banks, building societies, credit unions and PRA-designated investment firms

From 7 March 2016 the Senior Managers Regime, together with the new Certification Regime, will replace the Approved Persons Regime. New conduct rules will come into force the following year. This briefing paper sets out details of the new regimes and rules - which will apply to the banking industry - and highlights the main differences from the current regime.
