Publication of the Implementing Regulation laying down rules for the application of Regulation on health technology assessment as regards the management of conflicts of interest in the joint work of the Member State Coordination Group on Health Technology Assessment and its subgroups.

The European Commission has published the third of the six implementing acts intended to be adopted before 12 January: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2745 of 25 October 2024. 

Although it is not yet in force, it sets out the rules for the management of conflicts of interest of those involved in joint clinical assessments and joint scientific consultations under the Health Technology Assessment Regulation.

Notes on the Scientific Service Report attached to communications of publicity materials.

The Generalitat de Catalunya has published information with the aim of clarifying doubts about the Scientific Service Report that is attached to the communications of advertising materials. 

In addition to clarifying concepts such as content and format, the document describes how to proceed for those laboratories that have no headquarters in Spain and no legal representative, as well as how to adapt the report for those cases in which the medicinal product is not authorized in Spain.
