Last December, Law 6/2024 of 20 December was published to improve the protection of living donors of organs or tissues for subsequent transplantation.
In Spain, living donation is regulated by different regulations that establish its conditions and requirements, so this new law updates the existing regulations, reinforcing the protection of living donors.
Entry into force of the new marking and information obligations provided for in Royal Decree 1055/2022 of 27 December on packaging and packaging waste.
From 1 January 2025, the packaging marking and information obligations provided for in Article 13 of Royal Decree 1055/2022 of 27 December on packaging and packaging waste will apply.
To prevent and reduce the impact of packaging and packaging waste on the environment, Royal Decree 1055/2022 establishes measures aimed at preventing the generation of packaging waste, as well as its reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery. In particular, regarding the information to be included on product labelling, the Royal Decree provides for a series of marking and information obligations, which are already applicable.
