REMINDER. The deadline for joining a SCRAP is 31 December 2024.
By 31 December 2024, all product producers who place commercial and industrial packaging on the market must be members of a SCRAP (Collective System of Extended Producer Responsibility), as established by Royal Decree 1055/2022 of 27 December on packaging and packaging waste.

The public consultation process has begun for the proposed amendment of Royal Decree 1277/2003, of 10 October, which establishes the general basis for the authorisation of health centres, services and establishments.
According to the proposal, the aim of the amendment is to reinforce patient safety conditions by preventing the practice of surgery for aesthetic purposes by health professionals who do not have a speciality whose official training programme includes competences in aesthetic surgery and by limiting such practice to the field included in the official training programme of the speciality.
All contributions must be submitted by 13 December 2024.
