I focus my legal practice on regulatory law with special emphasis on chemicals, agrochemicals and biological alternatives for agriculture. I am the focal point for cases in Spain and have relevant experience in approval and registration procedures of plant protection products, fertilisers, biostimulants and means of biocontrol, amongst others.
I have advised clients active in variety of regulated sectors and defended client's interests before public authorities at both EU and national level. At national level, I participated in numerous administrative and judicial procedures before regulatory authorities and the Courts of Spain.
Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I worked at the legal department of the IT company IBM, where I focused on legal matters related to the public sector, such as public outsourcing contracts, public tender procedures and research collaboration agreements with public entities.
I hold an LLM in European Union Law from the University Carlos III of Madrid and studied Private International Law at the American University of Washington D.C. (Washington College of Law). I also studied environmental sciences for three years at the University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid.
I am a fully qualified lawyer and member of the Madrid and Brussels Bar.
I am a native Spanish speaker, speak English fluently and French at an intermediate level.
