I am a tax partner with over twenty years' experience in transactional tax, working across sectors and jurisdictions and helping clients to manage tax risk and to structure transactions efficiently.
My expertise covers M&A, reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures, demergers, financings and refinancings, W&I tax insurance, business acquisitions and pre-sale structuring, as well as bespoke advisory work.
Tax is a fast-paced, specialist area and my broad-based experience means that I am adept at identifying tax risks and opportunities and can explain complex tax issues simply and straightforwardly.
I focus on what matters commercially in the transaction at hand and advise on how best to protect against tax risk, whether contractually or through the structure of the deal, with the minimum of fuss.
I work closely with the corporate and finance teams across the firm and am part of the day-to-day deal team, meaning that I understand the transactions, the commercial aims and the issues, and I am accessible and responsive to clients' needs and the deal requirements.
I enjoy working with clients to get their deals done.
