Professional background

I am a partner in the international arbitration group at Fieldfisher. I have over 20 years of experience as counsel; I have acted as counsel in disputes conducted under all of the major arbitration rules including ICC, ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, LCIA and SCC. I also sit as an Arbitrator and am a member of Arbitra.
In addition. I spent two years at one the largest third party funders as Managing Director, so am able to advise clients that are interested in obtaining funding with respect of their claims.
 
I am the current Chair of the ICC UK Committee on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution having previously held its Vice Chair position. I am co-chair of the International Charity Ball Committee. I have been ranked, since 2012, in Chambers & Partners and am currently ranked in the legal Who’s Who Thought Leaders 2021. I am regularly published in a variety of journals and media outlets and speaks at international arbitration events.
 
I am a qualified solicitor and admitted to the roll in England & Wales and hold Higher Rights of Audience. I received my MA from Downing College, Cambridge having studied Law, achieved a Distinction in my LPC at Nottingham Law School and am fluent in three languages including French and Polish.
