Professional background
I am an associate lawyer in the Criminal Law & Compliance department at Fieldfisher in Barcelona, with over twelve years of professional experience. Before joining the firm, I developed my career at one of the most prestigious criminal law boutiques in the city. I specialise in Economic Criminal Law, particularly in offences against property, land use planning offences, and crimes against public administration.
In 2016, I completed a Postgraduate Program in Compliance at the Barcelona School of Management (Pompeu Fabra University), which provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the core areas of regulatory compliance. This training has enabled me to contribute to the preparation of criminal risk analysis reports for various companies and to the design of processes and controls aimed at preventing and/or mitigating such risks.
I combine my legal practice with teaching in the Master’s in Law Admission program at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. I am also a board member of the Criminal Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association and have participated as a speaker in various conferences and courses.
