Professional background

I advise international and local companies on all aspects of technology, data and cybersecurity laws, including the GDPR, the Data Act, the Data Governance Act, the AI Act, the DMA, the DSA and ePrivacy regulation. I assist clients with designing and implementing compliance programs, the data aspects of transactions, managing data breaches, data protection impact assessments, data and technology related agreements, regulatory investigations and data related litigation. I have experience in a range of industries, such as technology, AI, automotives, telecommunications, life sciences and financial services.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I was a Bluebook trainee at the European Data Protection Board and worked at other international law firms, focusing on data and technology matters.

I hold a Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp and a specialised Master in Intellectual Property and ICT Law from the Catholic University of Leuven.

I am a member of the Brussels bar.

I am a native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and Turkish and have a good understanding of French.
