Professional background

I advise on, prepare and negotiate contracts for: information technology and business process outsourcing projects; IT service provision in single supplier and multi-supplier delivery environments; major systems implementation and procurement; software development, licensing and support; and e-commerce projects.

I have particular expertise in public sector procurement and the application of the public contract regulations. I advise clients on all aspects of the sourcing process and the project lifecycle including, market sounding, tendering, re-structuring, termination, exit and re-procurement.

I am a dual-qualified lawyer and practised in Australia for 6 years prior to relocating to the UK. I am ranked by Chambers UK as an up and coming lawyer who is 'down-to-earth, technically good and inspires confidence in clients'.  I speak regularly on public sector procurement and outsourcing and contributed chapters to The Law Society’s recently published book on outsourcing titled, Outsourcing: Law and Practice (December, 2010).

Chambers UK 2015 says I am "very pragmatic" and "manage complicated contract negotiation workloads"
