Professional background
I am a consultant within the firm's Technology and Data practice and advise clients on complex IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing transactions. I have over 25 years' experience advising on such projects (with over 10 years of that as a Partner in the City of London).
I act for both supply-side and customer-side clients which means I understand the drivers and needs on both sides of a transaction. I have particular experience of multi-jurisdictional transactions, and have gained very significant experience of the financial services sector, with more than half of my work based in this sector. I have been at the forefront of many "offshoring" transactions, with a particular emphasis on the Indian market.
I was awarded a first class degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bath in 1989 and qualified as a solicitor in 1996.
