Professional background

I have experience in formulating worldwide trade mark filing strategies, undertaking clearance searches, trade mark filing and prosecution work before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office, as well as managing trade mark portfolios internationally.

I deal with contentious matters such as oppositions, invalidation actions and non-use revocation actions before the trade mark registries and negotiate settlements in trade mark disputes.

My experience spans a wide variety of sectors and industries. Notably, fashion, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and technology, retail and consumer goods.

I have been working in the IP Department since May 2014 and qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2019.

I am a member of The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
