I am admitted to practice in England and Wales, and in the Falkland Islands. I have a broad disputes practice.
Arbitration
My arbitration practice includes Investor-State disputes with a Latin American nexus, as well as commercial arbitrations under the rules of the LCIA, the ICC and the LMAA.
Enforcement
I am a member of Fieldfisher's Commercial Crime, Health and Safety, and Fraud, Commercial Crime and Investigations practice groups. My contentious work in these areas focusses largely on defence of corporates, whilst I also provide advisory services in a compliance context.
Sanctions
I regularly support our Tier 1 ranked Sanctions Group with contentious and non-contentious instructions.
Pro Bono
I am the programme lead for Fieldfisher's partnership with Manchester Innocence Project, a pro bono legal advice clinic representing those whose convictions are unsafe, or who have been subjected to miscarriages of justice.
I provide advisory support to Royal Mencap Society, via their partnership with our award-winning Just Purpose team.
In addition to disputes capability, my transactional experience in the upstream oil and gas sector spans financing, asset acquisition and divestment, and overseas regulatory regimes. I have a business proficiency in Spanish and was involved in the Spanish language negotiation of the first Mexican international unitisation agreement.
My name is pronounced to sound the same as 'Christine'.
