Professional background
My most recent experience includes advising on pension scheme mergers and bulk transfers, including employer exits from complex industry wide pension schemes. I have also advised on scheme benefit changes and closure exercises including restrictions under scheme amendment powers.
I have particular expertise in complex documentation review exercises in order to identify and advise on historic pension scheme change issues and benefit errors. I have led a number of pensions dispute matters including professional negligence, part 8 proceedings, negotiating standstill agreements and interviewing witnesses.
I was a founding committee member of the Women's Pension Network in the North, and a former committee member of the North West Society of Pensions Professionals.
