I provide strategic and practical advice on data protection law compliance in the IT and telecommunications fields. I have advised start-ups and multinationals in both contentious and non-contentious matters. I have a particular interest in privacy challenges related to new digital technologies and services (AI, blockchain, IoT, cookies, etc.).
In the past, I have been seconded as a privacy manager at Telenet, where I helped oversee the roll-out of their GDPR programme. In addition, I have been seconded as legal counsel at Ingersoll Rand, where I gained extensive experience in commercial contract negotiations in French, Dutch, English as well as Spanish. I have also been seconded to Accenture as legal contracting manager, where I was responsible for conducting pre-contractual and contractual negotiations for highly complex IT projects.
I have been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2018. Before joining the Bar, I worked as legal counsel for Worldline.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in law from Ghent University in 2016 and obtained a specialised LL.M. in intellectual property, media and ICT law, from K.U. Leuven in 2018 (cum laude). In 2022, I obtained a specialised LL.M. in Artificial Intelligence and Law at the Brussels School of Artificial Intelligence (cum laude).
I am fluent in Dutch, French, English and have a basic knowledge of Spanish.
