Professional background

I have over 12 years of experience advising international and domestic investment funds, financial institutions, developers, large corporations, and family offices on complex real estate and alternative financing transactions. My career combines solid experience at top-tier international law firms —including Linklaters and Pinsent Masons— with a later stage as Legal Vice President at Santander Alternative Investments, the alternative investment vehicle of Grupo Santander with an international structure in Luxembourg and London.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in more than 100 closings, many of them cross-border, across sectors such as flex-living, hospitality, residential, logistics, offices and retail. Notable transactions include the acquisition of the Xanadú shopping centre for Intu, the sale of a logistics portfolio for Blackstone, the purchase of 500,000 m² of logistics land for AQ Acentor, the acquisition of several NPL portfolios worth several billion euros for international investment funds, the acquisition of Barclays Bank’s office building in Plaza Colón (Madrid) for CBRE Global Investors.and the acquisition and development of multiple flex-living assets for Santander Alternative Investments valued at approximately €150 million, among others.

During my time at Santander, I contributed to the launch and consolidation of the group’s new alternative investment management platform, coordinating legal support for real estate and alternative financing strategies and negotiating with leading international advisers in the market.

My experience also includes the coordination and negotiation of multijurisdictional legal teams, having participated in transactions covering the full lifecycle of assets —from acquisition and financing to restructuring and divestment.

I combine a legal and business background —holding a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of Valencia, with study periods at KU Leuven, the London School of Economics, and The Hague Academy of International Law— with a strategic and financial perspective focused on value creation and risk mitigation for investors.

Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I regularly advise on international transactions and have established myself as a versatile professional in the field of alternative investment, particularly within the real estate sector.
